Could you introduce yourself in a few lines so that our community can get to know you better?

A woman with a passion for the stage, theater, cinema, fashion, photography and sports. Challenges and risks are part of my daily life. I like to put myself in danger and not be content with what happens to me. My credo is always more, always further. I like self-mockery and breaking away from clichés.

How would you define your style/universe?

Authenticity, life, smiles and energy. On the lookout for young, up-and-coming designers, and taking people on a journey through many different worlds 🙂

When was your blog created?

February 2016

What triggered you to get involved in blogging and social networking?

Until January 2016 I was content with Facebook and my website www.carolepalais.com on which I posted my news as an actress. After many discussions with my friends and family, I decided to try my hand at Instagram, as I love photography and fashion, and this niche seemed to suit me! And indeed, for the past year I've been posting daily; and I've redesigned my website to adapt it to these two activities (Actress & Influencer).

How much time do you spend on your articles or youtube videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other bloggers and others? youtubers ?

I spend 2 to 3 hours a day writing posts/articles/photos, and then there are the appointments, the meetings, the shoots...

You have to make the most of your time. The advice I'd give is to set yourself small goals each day so that you feel you're making good progress, because this digital adventure can very quickly tend towards + infinity! You can always do more, and always do better, of course!

Which community are you targeting?

Men and women aged 19 to 35

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

I find inspiration in my day-to-day experiences (more or less unusual), by meeting new people, traveling; and also sometimes by impregnating current trends.

I mainly use Instagram:@carole_palais

How do you manage your time, between family, work, social networking and blogging?

It's not always easy, you have to make your own boxes. Especially as I also work in a consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, I sometimes feel like I'm doing 30% everywhere, but I reason with myself that it's not so bad, but I sometimes experience frustration or the feeling that things aren't finished. But I believe that life is a construction site, and sometimes a messy one! But as long as the rough draft gets better, that's the main thing!

Did one collaboration/partnership stand out for you more than others?  And if so, which one?

With G KERO. I really like this brand and its universe. The designers are charming. And I was honored to wear their creations in original places like skiing!

What would you like to undertake or develop next?

I'd like to keep developing my Instagram account, keep meeting new people, and keep combining these different horizons: theater/film/fashion/photography.

Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?

I take my own photos, but I also work regularly with professional photographers. This allows me to vary the style of my shots.

What advice would you give to other influencers in the community? And what would you say is your main secret to success?

I advise influencers to vary their content and surprise their community every day, so as not to fall into an overly repetitive register that risks boring their community.

For my part, I started with short videos in January 2016, instagram's format was limited at the time to 15s, and few people were still making videos on the platform, which created a singularity; And little by little my account grew.

What does being a blogger mean to you on a daily basis?

Encounters, discoveries, questioning, putting ourselves in danger by exposing ourselves to the many people who follow us.

What do you think of Value Your Network? Do you have any specific comments you'd like us to improve?

I think it's a shame that most of the proposed campaigns are dedicated to Facebook, linkedin or twitter and very few to Instagram. I'd also like to see campaigns that are fun and original.
