I'm Mary, hyper-connected mommy blogger of two little girls aged 8 and 12, who's been passionate about London since I was a teenager.

I love to write, read and travel, and I've been blogging for 12 years! My blog "Londres Pour Les Enfants" used to be about London, but over the years other sections have been added, such as a lifestyle category and our Carnet de Voyages (http://www.londrespourlesenfants.com/blog/carnet-de-voyages/) where I recount our travels and sojourns around the world.

When was your blog created?

My blog will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year!

What triggered you to open your blog? http://www.londrespourlesenfants.com/ "How do you get started on social networks?

When I wanted to take my first daughter to London when she was still very young, my first instinct was to search the net for kid-friendly addresses in London. At the time, no website existed, so I created "Londres Pour Les Enfants" to help parents who wanted to take their kids to London.
My presence on social networks was an obvious choice. It's a fabulous communication tool when used correctly.

Which community are you targeting?

Most of my readers are parents, but there are also people who are looking for information about London, or simply London lovers like me.

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

Everything inspires me! It can be a topical subject, a meeting, an event. I always have a little notebook in my bag to write down the ideas that pop into my head. I use Facebook and Instagrambut for the past few months I've also been focusing on Twitter!
My favorite social network is still Instagram, where I love looking at the pretty pictures taken all over the world. I'm ubiquitous and usually post one photo a day. The photos I post often reflect my mood.

How do you manage your time between family, work, social networking and blogging?

"IT'S ALL ABOUT ORGANIZATION! I write most of my articles at the weekend and then schedule them on the blog, but sometimes I write in the evening when I get home from work. In 2017, I also made a good resolution to use an editorial planner that I created via the Trello app. I sometimes find it hard to switch off and leave the blog on pause to the extent that even on vacation I write.

What do you do for a living?

I'm a nurse.

Did one collaboration stand out for you more than others? And if so, which one?

Two years ago, I collaborated on a London family guide published by Graines2 (http://librairie-graine2.fr/livre/guides-en-famille/londres-en-famille/). It was a very interesting experience, and the book gave my blog even more visibility.

What would you like to undertake or develop next?

I'm currently writing my own guide to London with the ChildrenI hope one day to publish it.
I also hope that London for Children will continue to grow and develop. I don't intend to stop blogging, writing is like a drug for me.

Do you make your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?

Most of the visuals are mine. All my photos are taken with my Canon EOS 750D SLR, and some in HD with my iPhone SE. With the blog, I've become a photo enthusiast, and I can take a hundred photos a day when we're in London or traveling.

What advice would you give to other influencers in the community?

Above all, have fun and always respect your editorial line. I think credibility is very important when you're a blogger.

What do you think of Value Your Network?

I discovered "Value Your Network" a little over a year ago and immediately fell in love with the concept. I love the fact that I can create my own posts from the campaigns, and that I have a wide choice of brands to choose from! I use the VYN app most of the time, so I can post wherever I want, whenever I want, and it's very easy to use.

Many thanks to you Mary. Don't forget to follow her on her networks and take a look at her universe, rich in adventure and advice, but above all filled with a sweetness of which she has the secret.

If you'd like your chance to be this week's influencer, please like our Facebook page (ICI), you must of course be a member of the #TeamVYN by registering on our website or app!
